Gas-Powered Engines:
Backpack: ECHO® gas-powered backpack blowers have several possible serial number locations: on the engine to the left of the starter assembly/between the fan housing and black engine cover/below the air filter cover and above the fuel tank, or below the elbow tube on the housing, and is 12 characters long. Older units may have an 8 digit serial number. The serial number can also be found on the box near the barcode.

Elbow Tube (On the housing):
Handheld: ECHO® battery-powered backpack blowers have several possible serial number locations: below the elbow tube on the housing SRM-2620 PHOTO, or below the air filter cover and above the fuel tank on the silver engine block, and is 12 characters long. Older units may have an 8 digit serial number.
Battery-Powered Engines:
Backpack: The serial number is located on the upper frame next to the battery compartment, and is 12 characters long. Older units may have an 8 digit serial number.
Handheld Blowers: There serial number is located below the trigger on the handle, and is 12 characters long. Older units may have an 8 digit serial number.
