Gas-Powered and Battery-Powered Engines: All handheld ECHO® products are engineered for right-hand use to provide the best control and safety. However, handheld blowers may also be operated with the left hand if necessary. When doing so, maintain a secure grip and always follow the safety instructions in the operator’s manual to avoid accidental contact with hot surfaces or moving parts. Battery-powered push mowers and backpack-style equipment are naturally ambidextrous and can be used comfortably with either hand.
