No, starting fluid should not be used to help start ECHO® products. It displaces the oil, leaving the engine without proper lubrication. Because starting fluids contain ether, which acts like alcohol, they strip lubrication from the piston and cylinder and can cause severe engine damage.
Some staring fluid brands are, CRC Heavy Duty Starting Fluid, Lucas Oil Sure Start Premium Starting Fluid, STA-BIL Starting Fluid
