Bar and chain oil or fuel/oil mixture was added to the wrong tank

If the bar and chain oil or fuel/oil mixture was added to the wrong tank on the ECHO® chainsaw or power pruner models, please follow the steps below. 

• Drain any bar and chain oil and/or fuel/oil mixture from the fuel and oil tanks
• Refill the oil tank with the correct bar and chain oil and the fuel tank with the proper fuel/oil mixture
• If the purge pump was primed while bar and chain oil was in the fuel tank or fuel mixture was in the oil tank, press the purge bulb several times until only fuel is visible and oil is cleared from the bulb

If the unit was run with the wrong fluid in either tank and will not start, the engine may be damaged. In this case, the unit should be taken to an authorized ECHO® dealer for evaluation.
