The fuel tank grommet and/or fuel lines may become cracked or worn down and may need to be replaced. The fuel tank grommet and fuel lines are meant to be a tight fit however, the installation may be difficult. The fuel tank grommet can be soaked in hot water to make it more pliable for installation. It is not recommended to soak the fuel lines in hot water. Oil can be added around the grommet and/or fuel lines for ease of installation. Do not use any sharp objects as it may pose of risk of damaging the grommet and/or fuel line.
If the fuel tank grommet/fuel lines cannot be installed, the unit should be taken to an authorized ECHO® dealer for evaluation.
