How is Yamabiko, Kioritz, Crary, Kwik Products, kWiet Power, Shindaiwa® connected to ECHO®?

Yamabiko Corporation: Japanese multinational company specializing in the manufacture and sale of outdoor power equipment. Established on December 1st, 2008, through a merger of Kioritz Corporation and Shindaiwa Corporation. 


Kioritz Corporation: Kioritz was a Japanese company that specialized in agricultural machinery founded in 1947. In 2008 Kiortiz Corporation and Shindaiwa Corporation merged to form Yamabiko Corporation. 


Crary Industries Inc.: A subsidiary of ECHO® Incorporated. ECHO® acquired Crary in 2005, subsequently rebranding it as Crary Industries, Inc. In 2009, Crary began carrying the ECHO® Bear Cat product line. These products specialize in heavier-duty equipment such as chippers, chipper/shredders, stump grinders, wheeled vacuums, and other debris management tools. These are more geared toward contractors, arborists, municipalities, and commercial users. In 2020, ECHO® Bear Cat was rebranded as Crary Bear Cat. 


Kwik Products Inc. (KPI): A subsidiary of ECHO® Incorporated. ECHO® acquired Kwik Products in 2009. Kwik Products Inc. manufactures the Speed-Feed® trimmer heads and trimmer line. 


kWiet Power: kWiet Power was a subsidiary of Shindaiwa® that manufactured diesel-powered generators beginning in 1972. The kWiet Power generators were rebranded in 2025 to ECHO® Incorporated. 


Shindaiwa®: Owned by Yamabiko Corporation. Prior to the merge with Kioritz, Shindaiwa® was an independent company founded in 1952.
